Reminiscing Sial! Part 2

It has been a while since any pictures were posted so its probably about time for the second series of Reminiscing Sial!

The next set of pictures I'm going to share is one of my more vivid experiences and I would really like to think that this was THE period that made me a better man. Some of you all might disagree but seriously, that is your seluardalam.

I never once envisioned myself as an Officer. It was always the case of crossing the bridge when it comes. Whatever that I was in I try to give my best and whatever that comes along with it I'll try to take it in my stride. That's just the way I am, not overly ambitious. So when 9 months of OCS training came to an end, the feeling was overwhelming. I'll always remember the day, March 11 2007.

You cant spot me here but this was my contingent. Everyone looks damn kilat in their no. 1. Settle seh.

Presenting to you, Mr Ever-Present-For-TL-Matches Russell Perreira as Parade Commander. Seriously man, respect for performing the job so admirably. But seriously also, wake up and come down for our matches next time.

I wouldn't want to say this is my proudest moment because I would like to have more proud moments in the future. But this definitely has to be up there. I teared but ya

See that blooming idiot with his hands up in the air. That was me. I really cannot put into words how it felt when the announcer presented us as newly commissioned officers. The emotions just took over. It was surreal

Members datang, thanks guys.

I remembered this moment very clearly. It was my uncle who asked, "Where's Aisyah?" and these were our awkward reactions caught on camera. Nazir and I tried to look away, Nas was hungry so he ate his finger but Mus's face was priceless. It was like everybody was embarassed by a simple innocent question. Having girls in our lives back then was alien to us so that explained it. Now also ah but ya.

As usual Suff was running around the parade talking to familiar faces. He came later to pass me a special letter. Kiiiiii kiiiiiiii

We then went back to our bunks for the last time. This was pretty much the room that I stayed in. The guy there is my buddy, I really couldnt have asked for a better one.

Haha bet you didnt know this but there was a Fiona Xie shrine on our noticeboard. Nazir must have wished he was there. It was the first thing that we saw when we enter the room. That and fixtures of the EPL season. Babes and Soccer, what more do you want seh.

And lastly, these were the pictures that helped me through the difficult times. The 3 pillars of my life back then from left to right ; Satay, Family and Friends.

Those were tough times man, good times.
