Siapa menang? Kita menang! Siapa menang? Kita menang!

Somewhere earlier this week, TLFC was having a player crisis. There weren't enough players for the game. Wait, that's no longer a crisis since we've learnt how to cope with that (smth I picked up from my Psychology of Crisis Stress Management elective). Having 8 players turn up for matches was really not funny, well it still is not. We have went through bad spells, or more of like one fucking long terrible spell, losing every other game by scorelines ranging from 1-0 to 17-0. I might have exaggerated the 17-0 la, probably it was 20-0. It came to a point where players were giving excuses like 'weddings', 'church', 'IHG', 'KL', 'referee' - a 'morning lesson' was close just now.

So I have to comment about the spirit TL showed this morning. We didn't have our regular keeper so ya. We started off well, passing the ball around, creating some nice attacks. Obviously that lasted for only 5-10 mins ah. Then suddenly the tides turned, we were constantly under pressure, losing all the balls everywhere and conceded 3 goals in the first half, 2 of which I believe were quite lucky. With 3 goals down, there was nowhere else for us to go but up (actually still can get whacked la) and we started pushing for a goal. Our efforts paid off when someone, i can't remember who, won a free-kick just outside the box. Aizat converted it with a coolly placed ball straight into the bottom right corner of the goal.

Half-time: 3-1

During the break, our star signing Vishnu gave some strategic modifications to our game-play. The 2nd half kicked off with a vibrant reawakened TL, and the chances came by so fast that it was 3-3 within the hour. Another freekick from Aizat hit the crossbar and Darryl pounced on the rebound after Aloy somehow missed. Vishnu capitalised on Tusser defending error and slotted the ball into the bottom left. We felt the blow as they nicked a controversial goal to take the lead once again. The ball was kicked from the keeper's hands. At 4-3, I thought that's it la, furthermore I was already sitting outside. Shawn showed some set of skills before blasting the ball into the crossbar, with his left foot. Azhari, too, had a shot that came off the bar. Our equalising goal came courtesy of the bar when Sheer headed Aizat's corner into the post rebounding off the keeper's back and into the goal. The winning goal was a result of who-else-if-not Sheer whose corner kick somehow went into the goal. The mystery scorer was Suff, our man-of-the-match.

From 3-0 down to 3-1 to 3-3 then 4-3 and winning 5-4 is really a feat. We deserved it for playing so well in the 2nd half. Final score: Tusser 4 TL 5 Post 5. More importantly guys is that "The atmosphere in the dressing room was good. Everyone showed character and positive attitude. We really wanted to win. Now we focus on the next game. We only look at one game at a time and that is the next game which we will try to win."
