Every now and then comes a match that reaffirms your faith and support for your beloved football club. I just witnessed one.
Two goals down at half time to a rejuvenated Spurs side and Man U did not play badly at all to be fair. The goals just came in much to the shock of fans like me watching. Sure, Man U always comes back but what if they don't? You start to wonder.
Ferguson made his intentions known right away replacing Nani with Tevez. And within seconds of kickoff, there he was chasing every lost cause playing every minute like it was his last. Then penalty! The tension was evident on Ronaldo's breath as he took one deep breath before he stepped up to the spot. Cool as you like, straight down the middle. The crowd went wild and something happened in the space of the next 15 min which turned the game on its head. Scoreline reads 4-2. Berbatov then adds in another sure why not 5-2.
What a superb team effort. Big players stepping up to the plate, Rooney and Ronaldo weighing in with two each. Berbatov was excellent throughout, that should shut up the media. And Tevez, whom I thought was the inspiration of the comeback.
Fooo yo time to catch some breath
