So I shall explain my recent fixation/infatuation with Leona Lewis. I'm sure most of you haven't seen this, it was in 2006 - back then most of you were busy with ORD-ing and I was busy enlisting.
Now the unique thing about her bloody voice is the high notes she reaches at the climax of her songs. Whitney doesn't reach it, her voice is "lantang" but Leona can reach the whistle register (that's whistling not with your lips, but with your lungs) which only Mariah and Christina can.

And of course, the way she sings... The vulnerable fragility, as if she really meant it when she is all by herself and she has nothing. Makes me wanna stroke her hair and feed her grapes.
