Its a Sunday and I'm stuck in school reading up on Deontology, Rule utilitarian and Veil of ignorance. Baik.
"original position is a hypothetical situation developed by American philosopher John Rawls as a thought experiment to replace the imagery of a savage state of nature of prior political philosophers like Thomas Hobbes." All these people can seriously just isap bodoh la. Seriously man, bual macam faham je (talk as if they understand. very very direct translation)
I bet they don't even know what they are talking about ah. They just act all smart and have that confident face so their friends or should i say peers( since they think it sounds cooler than friends) don't want to look stupid so they just nod their heads and go, "Excellent! Well done Rawls old chap!". Pla buto la.
I really really don't like it when I have to work/study or do something not fun on Sundays. Even when I was in NS, I made it a point to take leave on Sundays ah. Sunday is meant for playing soccer (even that I can't do now) or just waking up like super late, reading the comics section when I'm in bed and falling asleep again. Ok ah, I do that everyday but I don't feel so guilty when its a Sunday.
5 more days then kita havoc ke pe Nas! EH EH EH EH. Isap bodoh. Back to the exciting world of Ethics.

I Miss
Zat's post made me have a wistful desire to the times of yore. I don't really like changes but like Tupac said (an inspirational source indeed) "Things'll never be the same. That's just the way it is .Aww yeah"
Here are just some of the things I miss. Its sort of a chronological order thingie. Like from SJI days to NS.
I miss the times when I was in 2e4 with Zat and we would have loads of fun. The camaraderie in the class nots greats ah. Nots nots.
I miss the times when we were penniless and broke. We would all combine our cash and just have enough money to get the Oreo pack and Maom. The rationing exercise in the bus will forever be etched in my mind. Oh and how Zat stole an extra oreo. And how he got me to steal the last one.
I miss the times when we decided on buying a big gulp cos all of us wanted to drink but we could not get our own individual drinks. ( I make us sound like paupers.)
I miss the times when I was on crutches and we took cab everywhere. We would then proceed to recall and laugh about the above two points.
I miss the times when Takraw was the in thing. From Zat winning two consecutive gold medals, Is winning all 3 different medals, Nas showing how good he is with the ball, Mus in his legend mood and Suff jumping with his eyes close and heading to god knows where. And Tanduk Setan.
I miss the times when we would fight over 'minor' issues but then be ok after a game of takraw.
I miss the times when we used to settle major disputes by pulling each other's hair like girls. Catfights.
I miss the times when Suff professed to the world that he will never be subjugated to modern technology and never get a handphone. Calls would be made from payphones at Fareast and other parts of town.
I miss the times when Suff had a proper functioning handphone. With his Handphone gone, calls would be made from payphones at Fareast and other parts of town.
I miss the times when Mus would chase me and Nas around (its not Nas and I). Nas and I would start running and hiding behind pillars to try to get away from Mus.
I miss the times when the only word to describe my friendship with Mus was "tumultous". From weilding Swiss army knives and shouting at street soccer courts. Attempts (Yup attempts. Lev Yashin BABE. haha) at own goals.
I miss the times when meeting Zat would constitute going to the beloved traffic light.
I miss the one and only time Zat came under my block to get a certain Pokemon guide book.
I miss the times when the only thing I was worried about was trying to catch a certain girl on a bus at 6.32am or 2.22pm.
I miss the times when Aizat would actually wake up at 6am and accompany me to Phoenix LRT.
I miss the times when Nas and I were in Ugama class, talking about certain sisters, baduts and kuburs.
I miss the time when I would not cower in fear before I shake Nas's hand.
I miss the times when me and Nas would play pool to decide on the leadership of the 17th Convention.
I miss the times when Suff's vivid depiction of World War 1 would involve having Tanglin CC as its backdrop.
I miss the times when being Suff's friend would mean getting scolded by teachers, for reasons like not wearing socks, giving hi-5s in the library and not wanting him to spend time with a certain Chemistry bitch.
I miss the times when we play laser quest and how Zat would hold my gun and start kicking me. The rest, if they were around, will then fire at me to get free points. Friendship at its best.
This one is a bit out of the timeline but I just have to say this.
I miss the times when I coud sit at home, minding my own business, talking to Zat about anything, like Coldplay songs and not be called a "Muka Merepek". Thats just me ah. Remember, sitting at home, minding my own business. Not doing anything to anyone. Just sitting at home.
Well back to studying.

Reminiscing Sial! Part 1
Yesterday night, I finally transferred pictures from my computer to my laptop, all 1+ GB of them. I've been planning to do it for a while, but I was just plain lazy standard la. Looking through the pictures had me going down memory lane and it was really good old nostalgia.
Since I've plenty of time right now, I thought I might as well share the pictures .So kicking off this series in no random order, here's a brief history of TLFC. And by brief, I dont mean seluardalam eh Suff. You're a seluardalam.
Ladies and gentlemen, presenting to you the TLFC Class of 03'. I bet you all don't know this but back in the days, TLFC actually had at least 11 players. As in enough to make a proper team. This was our very first jersey, the classic orange Sleese top and black shorts. I forgot whose idea it was but this orange rocks my socks man. This was a picture taken at St Wilfred stadium. our 'home ground' back then. Notice we almost had a full team of proper jerseyed players, so spot the blooming idiot wearing yellow.Back then, Nazir was a decent keeper, Mus was present in our matches, and we had a ball. You could say things were never the same since then.
We never had a lot of pictures together as a team but I think the next two are priceless. If I remembered correctly, it was from Darryl's camera. This were our routine Sunday morning spent on the glorious Pending street soccer courts back then. The turnout was always impressive, except for Nazir whom if you look closely enough is sleeping at home in the background. We all know about his " Ya I'm coming down now". Bloody mama the street soccer court is just across the street and he takes ages to come down. But it takes one to know one so ya.
Notice Jon still had humongous thighs, Suff likes his hands on and around me (uhuh uhuh) and Nas likes to have a metal chain in between his thighs. Man those were good times.

Barca menang
So yesterday was the Champions League final.
Here's a brainteaser. When you have a bunch of guys living in the West, where should you go to watch the final? Simpang Bedok la obviously. No choice seh right Nas
To our pleasant surprise, the place where we ate turned out to be Man Utd supporters also. Damn semangat with the Man U banner and scarves all. In fact, the staff was wearing Man U jerseys as well so all in all it turned out to be a very good choice. Great atmosphere for watching soccer.
So yes Barca won. In all fairness, they thoroughly deserved it. As soon as they were one goal up and so early in the game, the masters of possession football was in total control. Their ball retention was superb la, Man U was made to look like TLFC except with 11 players. Etoo and Messi scored but once again, the brains behind of the operation were the duo of Iniesta and Xavi.
It's been a long time coming but finally, these two got the recognition they deserved. Rooney recently added to that by declaring Iniesta as the best player in the world.
It's as if the world listens to Rooney more than they do listening to me and Nas.
Like what is up with that?

Inspirasi dialami
As I sit in the library, overlooking the beautiful Campus Green, I can't help but wonder, why am I in school studying? I rather be at home sleeping or reading a book I am actually interested in. So guys, if you are feeling down and oh so blue, remember
Tulis la! Tulis la sebelum kau ditulis!
Lukisila, apa yang tak pernah dilukis!
Basmikan la, sebelum kau dirasmi-ed!
And finally
Bertaubat la sebelum ubat berta kita! (Baik Zat)
Dah ingatlah
Dan beberapa ribu dan laksa pedang yang sudah terhunus
Dengan segores kalam jadi tersarung
Intip.

Hello Panda
How did my face end up like this?
a) I didn't sleep enough and so developed a massive eyebag( under one eye la)
b) I tried to put on guyliner which went horribly wrong
c) Something happened in the middle of a soccer match
d) Or Nazir's favourite answer, muka aku memang merepek
Hope the picture did not spoil anyone's appetite.

KRISurat
So just like the EPL, American Idol is done and dusted. And after sitting for my paper today, I think I'm done and dusted.
Just like the post EPL mayhem, there are all kinds of talk going on about this season's winner American Idol. Conspiracy theories la, flawed voting system all, like what has ever happened to the term humble in victory, gracious in defeat. Like come on la people, look at it objectively.
Is Kris Allen no less deserving than Adam Lambert as AI winner? Was his win based on pure luck than talent? Are you saying he simply bundled his way to the final stage without merit?
I'm a fan of both but looking at the bigger picture, Kris has the complete package and the more universal appeal. That's it.
Adam has the bigger voice but the makciks are never going to pluck in their earphones beneath their tudung and headbang along with his music. Instead, they prefer Kris's more soothing voice to joget zapin to with Nas as the instructor.
Maybe the fan can follow the lead of their idols themselves. Kris was as ever humble and downplayed his victory while Adam was all smiles and gracious.
So enough of the sour grapes. And that includes you Rafa.

Padan Muka ("serve u right" is it?)
After all the hype about Adam's performances, Kris emerged the winner. I'd say his Ain't No Sunshine thrashed Adam's Mad World but it wasn't enough. Kris's No Boundaries was bad, terrible. It really showed his vocal weakness. I wanted an Adam-Danny final ah, but everyone else wanna step. Last last Adam yang kalah, padan muka. I find Danny's a-little-coarse voice damn cool and his vocal range is baik. Maybe Kara wrote No Boundaries thinking that Adam and Danny would be in the final. Imagine if both of them squared off for that. It'll be some good shit ah. But too bad, isap ah all Adam fans.

Why Benitez should Shut the hell up
Before i start ranting, I just want to say that I really think Liverpool had a great season (ok, it has not ended, but Man U has won so counted as ended ah). They pushed Man U all the way. At the back of my mind I was quite afraid that they would snatch the title from Man U ah, but luckily Man U did it.
Secondly. I wanna state that I think Benitez is a great manager. He won the Champions league with a team he got from Houllier. Come on la. Anybody who can win something, let alone the Champions League, with a team consisting of Cisse, Igor Biscan, Josemi and the one and only Traore deserves respect. He has does brilliantly at Liverpool and I am sure they are set to improve.
Ok, now here goes. What I am bingit with Benitez is how he can't leave Man U and Ferguson alone. Like seriously man, grow up. Even after Man U won the title, he said that he wants to congratulate the "club". He just did not want to mention Ferguon's name. He's really a small and petulant child.
But what irks me more than anything else is how he attributes Man U's success to their spending power. "When you are prepared to pay £20m or £30m for players it is easier to win the title". Oh ya ah, Torres came on free transfer right. And Mascherano was like nowhere near £20m. Ok ok. Please la Benitez, don't be a sore loser. You've lost, just get over it. I just read this article on Soccernet. He mentioned about how, "We may well break our transfer record, but certainly not Manchester United's." Then he goes on to say, "It does all come down to the money they have been able to spend, that is the difference." Why, why must he mention Man U? Leave them out it la. Like seriously man. I know you want to reassure your fans and all but its getting a lil irritating and whiny.
I did some research on how much Benitez has spent in comparison to Ferguson ever since Benitez's tenure, which has been 5 years and the "Man U has spent £100 million more than Liverpool" is a figment of Benitez's vivid imagination. There are conflicting reports on the net but just in case everyone thinks I am super bias, I'll use the figures which shows that Ferguon has spend more. Man U has spent around £10 million more than Liverpool. £10 million not £100 million. Granted that Man U had to sell less players and their net expenditure was more than Liverpool's, that really does not matter. Benitez basically sold all the rubbish buys he made and made more rubbish buys. So I don't think comparing net spending is an issue.
Another point I want to bring out is, when Ferguson talks about Chelsea's spending power, he has the right to do so. Well hell, everyone talks about Chelsea's spending power. With Man City in the fray, I guess we'll be hearing about them too. But the thing is, Chelsea's situation is totally different. They operate on a whole different level. But even then, when Chelsea won back to back titles, Ferguson didn't do a "Benitez". He congratulated Mourinho and stated that Mourinho was a good manager who did well, albeit with limitless funds at his disposal. That is what I call class.
Liverpool fans might say that Ferguson does not need to spend that much because he is just replacing certain key players to an already great team while Benitez is overhauling the team and creating a new one. I have to agree with that. Ferguson is just oiling and replacing certain parts of his Porsche while Benitez, from day 1 has been trying to "chng" his Cherry QQ. Like I said, he has done a tremendous job but its just too bad Ferguson has been at Manchester United for an incredible 23 years. Wenger was up against that and he won the league, thrice, with Arsenal. And we all know that Arsene Wenger only has like $1 dollar to spend every season. So ya.
Take a look at Aston Villa and especially Everton. David Moyes has been rebuilding his team with very limited funds but they have done very well. Tottenham has spent a lot but started off badly (Redknapp did well). Manchester City has spent and will continue to spend obscene amounts of money but I really don't see them breaking into the top 4 or even making it into the top 6 position.
My point is, money is not what drives a club to success (Take a look at the Galacticos Fiasco and Chelsea). Granted that it is a very important factor, it is not 'the' factor. So I sincerely hope that Rafa grows up, shuts the hell up and strengthens his squad. If he does that, I'm sure we'll be in for a very interesting and hopefully, more exciting season.

To Bull Or Not To Bull?
You know when you read something and you don't know whether it's bullshit or whether it's true? And it irritates you how that certain text just finely toes the line in between both?
This article is one of them.

MEGAN FOX IS A MAN!
Posted on Wednesday, January 14th, 2009
By Reginald Cunningham III
url: http://weeklyworldnews.com/celebs/4783/megan-fox-is-a-man/
LOS ANGELES, CA – The internet has been abuzz since this Sunday’s Golden Globes ceremony, where Megan Fox jokingly remarked that she looked like a man.
When interviewed on the red carpet, she said “I look like Alan Alda in drag. I’m a tranny. I’m a man.”
At the time, reporters passed it off as a jovial attempt to cover for her nerves.
However, today she has cleared the air and officially reported: she’s really a man.
Megan Fox was born Mitchell Reed Fox in Rockwood, Tennessee. From an early age, Mitchell showed an interest in both performing and women’s clothing. When having a preacher lay hands on him did not ‘cure’ him of these interests, his parents simply put him on the pageant circuit.
By the age of 13, Mitchell had already started a career as a female child performer called ‘Megan Fox’. Making her debut on an Olsen Twins straight-to-video release, the twins have kept his secret all this time.
As a sweet 16 present, Fox’s parents offered him sexual reassignment surgery, which, given their child’s career, they’d hoped to write off as a business expense. Unfortunately laws prohibit such surgery to be done to minors.
Since then Megan has been working non-stop, and been included on many Hottest Women lists in publications around the world.
Megan, as she goes by now exclusively, also noted this Sunday how much she wants Salma Hayek’s figure. She has even scheduled surgery later this month to get it. After the two met in New York this week, Hayek offered to have a cast made of her bust so doctors can match them exactly on Megan Fox’s chest.
The internet is already speculating whether this news will be worked into the plot of the upcoming Transformers sequel.
And it's from a quite credible news source la. This is strange. I've jacked off to this man/woman/it before. Gaaarrgghhhhhhtetrafluorohydroxide!

Elementary my dear Watson
Instead of like using a word to describe us, I thought it'll be more interesting if we use elements. So they are:
Zat - Cobalt
Suff - Sodium
Mus - Iodine
Nazir - Magnesium
You might be thinking, how bout Nas and Faliq? Well Faliq can isap because he is nowhere to be found. As for nas, he is too complex to be an element. He is more of a compound or to be precise:
Nas -Hydroflourocarbon

Coldest story ever told
Now that my personal favourite, Danny Gokey, is not in the final, I think Kris Allen should win but ya. I think Adam is just what malay will call 'over'. He's a little too theatrical ah, like too much at times. Not that I'm being gay or what, but I think Kris is really cool. Furthermore Kris can really modify the tune of the songs to suit his style. Remember his rendition of She Works Hard For The Money, and also Ain't No Sunshine. Both were awesome. And now Heartless. Like what Kara said last time, "This is artistry!"

Logical over Radical
You guys know right about my intense love for the three Sanins, O'Shea, Gary Neville(used to be Silvestre. Good riddance) and Fletcher. Well, I have to say while O'Shea and Gary have lived up to expectations of being merepek, I actually think Flecther was a good ah this season. I am actually quite sad he'll miss the champions league final. He did so much and to get banned just because the ref made a mistake, its quite sad ah.
I'm not complaining over the ref's decision. Even Ferguson said he thought it was a foul. But,UEFA, led by the merepek Michel Platini should wake up their idea la. In this day and age where we can use basic technology to watch replays, UEFA chooses not to. "UEFA choose not to have recourse to overturn decisions, eschewing the use of TV evidence" Seriously dumb right. Why deprive a player of a chance to play in the final when he clearly did not deserve the card? Why not review the action and do something about it? It has no bearing on the past result right.
What I find extremely amusing is how they don't want to do such a basic thing, like using TV evidence and such but this Platini wannna step change this la, that la. Want to introduce the 6+5 rule la, cap on wages la, transfer spending ah. Jubo ah. The best one is, he wants to limit the number of English teams, basically the number of teams from the Top european leagues, and let the minnows have a chance to participate. Its the Champions League right, where we wanna see football at its best. Whats the point of leaving out Arsenal (lets say the rule will be imposed next season) and let a team who got 3rd in the Greek league participate. Bodoh punye matrep.
I won't go into how he hates the English clubs just because his own french teams are a bunch of matreps. The message I am trying to bring across it, why not you implement changes which are small, impactful and logical instead of radical? Seriously, is it so hard to say, "Hey Fletcher, based on Television replays, you didn't deserve the red card. So the decision has been overturned. Congrats!"
As of now, I just hope whoever replaces Fletcher will do him and Man u proud. Can't wait for the finals.
