I'm currently watching the game between Aston Villa and Liverpool and I'm seriously fucking pissed wif Benitez ah.

WTF are you thinking? You have dunno how many fucking strikers but you choose to play Torres as lone striker. And why the fuck play 3 center mids? Lucas, Mascherano and Alonso. You paid 18mil for Keane and play him on the left wing, and still sticking to Kuyt on the right. I'm not gonna start on Kuyt ah, too tired. But seriously, why why. Where is Babel? Even Benayoun can play on the wing la. You still have Pennant who I really dunno why you choose not to play at all. You have the players, but your tactics are worse than TLFC's ah. The whole gameplay strategy is matrep, even matreps can play nicer football I think.

Champions League Draw

So I was up watching the Champions League 08/09 draw last night. The co-host is quite hello ah, don't know from where though.

Club keeper of the year - Cech
Club defender of the year - Terry
Club midfielder of the year - Lampard
Club forward of the year - Ronaldo

For a moment, I thought all the honours were going to Chelsea players, that means Drogba for the last award.

Group A - Chelsea, Roma, Bordeaux, CFR Cluj

Group B - Inter Milan, Werder Bremen, Panathinaikos, Anorthosis Famagusta

Group C - Barcelona, Lisbon, FC Basel, Shakhtar Donetsk

Group D - Liverpool*, PSV, Marseille, Atl Madrid

Group E - Man Utd, Villarreal, Celtic, Aalborg

Group F - Lyon, Bayern, Fiorentina, Steaua Bucharest

Group G - Arsenal, Porto, Dynamo Kiev, Fenerbahce

Group H - Real Madrid, Juventus, Zenit, BATE Borisov

I think BATE Borisov, Aalborg, Anorthosis Famagusta (wat a name la seriously), and CFR Cluj are noobs in Champs League.

So looking at the groupings, obviously Chelsea has the easiest route to 2nd Round. Oh wait, no. I think CFR Cluj will top that group. I think Arsenal and Liverpool group will be the tough, as in seriously, no biasness or anything. And again, Liverpool is with Marseille and PSV ah. Then plus Garcia at Atl Madrid. Confirm he will score some nice goal la against Liverpool.

10 Reasons why Alonso should stay

This is sort of why Liverpool shouldn't buy Gareth Barry also.

1) Spanish >>> not boring and much better looking.

2) He's also 27. In fact, he's 9 months younger.

2) I really think Alonso is one of the best passers in the game. I'm not talking bout those type of 5-m passes which we can barely make. His are the 60-yard type of drives.

3) Good set-piece taker.

4) Way more experience, in both club and national competitions.

5) Appeared in EURO 2008, and a gold medal to go with that.

6) Plays alongside Xavi, Iniesta, Fabregas, Torres and Villa. Those are NOT good players at all.

7) Played a vital part in the 2005 Champions League campaign.

9) I don't think a 18mil pounds price tag is worth it for a 27-year-old English player, unless he can score like Henry or stop time like Zidane. If he can play like Cheyrou or Diao, then I will definitely be writing that as the only reason why Barry should join Liverpool.

10) And most importantly, why need Barry when we have Dirk Kuyt, you kidding me? Dirk Kuyt! Dirk Kuyt! 11 goals in 43 appearances last season, way to go!

Venue should be at Apollo. I'll book the room once attendance is confirmed. You guys know about the Muse concert story right, how Zat didn't wanna go coz it's only me and him. Smth along the lines of "eh pegi ngan kau je, buat ape seh". Then now he's trying to deny all that, saying that I was the one who didn't wanna go. Hisap ah. That's one.
Second, the Incubus concert. This time, I was the one who said I didn't have money at that point in time. But I was at SMU on the concert night and I could hear bits of them playing. I regretted not going for the concert ah, should've just borrowed money from Zat first, then pay him back later or not at all.
Well at least Zat went to watch Linkin Park, wif Nazir and Suff. I didn't coz I had exams on the following day.
Then the latest one was Singfest. After much consideration, I believe that even the appearance of Rick Astley won't make me pay that much, in such a short notice. So we all decided to save up for next year's Singfest, if there is one.
So Zat, I saw in the papers, that Ash is coming to town dok. When I checked at sistic, apparently, Avril is also coming down. Baik. Here are some stuff to come, chronologically.

time is waiting

It’s amazing how fast time flies. This past week has just rocketed by and I hardly had a breather. The combination of tuition, training, council and driving is really taking a toll, so much so that I had to reject all invitations to hang out with my friends. This week alone, I had no choice but to politely decline on no less than 3 occasions ,all with a heavy heart. So before Monday comes and the viscous cycle starts all over again, I shall enjoy whatever free time that I have in the weekends.

Anyway, yesterday I was talking to one of the freshies and we were talking about secondary schools.

Me : So which secondary school do you think I’m from?

Freshie : You look like you're from an all-boys school.

Me : Oh how do you know that?

Freshie : Because you don’t look like you’re from RI. (Ah thanks that means I don’t look smart) and you’re not the kind from ACS (this can mean a lot of things). So you must be from SJI.

Somehow, I was actually beaming with glee and pride when she said that. I guess I was pleasantly surprised that she could associate me to SJI based on first impressions and conversations. I tried to convince her I was from Chinese High but for some reason, she refused to believe me. Baik ah aku Josephian. ORA ET LABORA.

Our blog is also as good as the title of this entry ah. Kisurat, what's up with you people man. I'm the one who started school ah. I'm gone ONE week, ONE week, and you guys still got no satays or interesting stories? Wtf la guys. Boring eh korang.

Ok, serious stuff. I'm not sure if you all know this already. I just read on Yahoo "Comedian and actor Bernie Mac dies at 50". For all those boring people who don't know who he is, he's the guy who was in Ocean's 11 and the subsequent ones. He also had his own comedy "The Bernie Mac Show". Apparently he died of pneumonia.

Also, condolences to our TOWNS member who just lost a family member a few days back.

You know right, how sometimes when you and your friends are talking in a group about a certain topic, there'll come a point where every one is trying to outdo one another. Like how if one guy talks bout his "everyday I have stand-by bed" during NS, then another will say that he have "stand-by bunk every few hours", though that's a bit exaggerated. You get my drift?
